Alpha Psi Omega is a theatrical honors fraternity, chartered at McDaniel College in 1983, reinstated in 2016 whose mission is to promote and strengthen the theatre arts at McDaniel College.
The chapter's major areas of effort - advocacy and membership development - accomplish this mission by helping to create a positive learning environment and by fostering an appreciation for theatrical achievement.
Alpha Psi Omega's advocacy programs are intended to increase support for the theatrical endeavors of McDaniel College by supplementing McDaniel community's and general public's awareness of the art form.
In the area of membership development, Alpha Psi Omega seeks to enhance the member's personal skills by recognizing achievement in the theatre arts and by offering vehicles for increased theatrical involvement.

Contrast is proud to be McDaniel’s purveyor of the literary and visual arts. Our activities include weekly meetings in the fall semester where we talk about art/literature, write and share our work, and hang out enjoying each other’s creative company.
During the spring, we accept content submissions for our yearly magazine issue (with prizes awarded to the top three pieces in each section). We also accept applications to the Editorial Board, which curates entries for quality and style.

The purpose of the Culinary Club (CUC) is to bring together individuals who are interested in the culinary arts and would like to expand their palate and culinary experience by exploring global cuisine, learning from scratch how to cook and bake, or to improve their cooking and baking skills. The CUC will also explore the gastronomy of other cultures and develop cross-cultural appreciation and understanding. The CUC will cooperate with other clubs and offer taste of a certain culture or region or help the other club with their event. The CUC may decide to cook special meals and invite faculty, staff, and community members as a fundraiser to help those who are in need.

The mission of the Hispano-Latinx Alliance (HLA) is to facilitate a space where students can learn and educate themselves, their families, and the McDaniel community about different Spanish-speaking cultures, engage in traditional experiences, and find an inclusive supportive Familia (family). We also strive to serve both the student and Carroll County Spanish-speaking population by learning about issues and working towards solutions concerning the Latinx population as well as advocating for students of Latinx descent on campus.
